Welcome to my blog! Sebastian Project is my personal website, where I write and post photos that amuse me - some technically good, some just fun. Wondering about the name? I don't know, really. As a child, I sometimes thought about what identity I would choose, if I could be whoever I wanted - in those flights of fantasy, my name was always Sebastian. When I started this blog back in 2005, I didn't really anticipate anyone reading it besides me and a few close friends, so casting around for a name, I called it sebastian's blue, my other identity and my favourite colour. The name's just stuck, but as my photography work has expanded, I decided it might be useful for people to actually connect photographer me and blogger me, so now my real name is up there too. There's a bit of poetry to the fact that the site that holds the name I would have chosen if I could be anyone I wanted is now where I'm talking about my work as an artist - I'm actually getting to be what I wanted. :)
