From wephoto.org:

For my birthday this year, I actually had a request for my in-laws. (I rarely do, and it frustrates Anik.) I asked for Pista Barfi, and Nanoo delivered. Since Anik points out that last sentence will just baffle people, I will pillage Wikipedia to explain:

Barfi is an Indian sweet. Plain barfi is made from condensed milk, cooked with sugar until it solidifies. Other varieties include besan barfi, made with besan (gram flour), and pista barfi, which is a milk barfi containing ground pistachio nuts. Barfi is often flavoured with cashew, mango, pistachio and spices, and is sometimes served coated with a thin layer of edible silver leaf (varak). Barfi is popular all over India and is often a part of Indian festivals, especially Holi.

Happy Birthday to me! :P
